VANA District 3 & 4 Report
On Saturday, November 10th, District 3/4 held an educational seminar in Roanoke, Virginia at the Roanoke Higher Education Center. This meeting was approved for four CEU’s and had the following speakers and topics:

| Maxine M. Lee, MD, MBA “Revisiting The Assessment of The Difficult Airway” |
| Ken Gergely, CRNA, MSN “Web Communication: Design for the Medical Professional” |
The meeting had 22 attendees in addition to the speakers. A Business Meeting was conducted as part of the conference and ideas were exchanged regarding District 3/4. It is a goal to become involved in community activities as well as promoting the role of CRNA’s in the delivery of health care in this part of Virginia. As Director, I welcome ALL CRNA’s in District 3/4 to become as involved as they wish but to at least join in on the process of being a part of the Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
I would like to extend my sincerest good wishes to every CRNA in District 3 & 4 as we approach the holidays and look forward to a very prosperous New Year to one and all.
