CRNAs Rocked!

Rock & Roll Half Marathon 2007

Our second annual PR/Community Service Project was a smashing success. If you haven’t heard, VANA Rocks Virginia Beach each Labor Day Weekend! We actually have a team of runners that run the Rock & Roll half marathon. This year we had an even larger group participate, between runners and volunteers, we had over 60 CRNAs and SRNAs! Not only did our group have fun we also raised over $3,000 for our adopted group People In Need (PIN).

We are already getting ready for next year. I would like to challenge you to walk, run or volunteer in this event that shows the public who we are, We are a group that provides great patient care and we actually reach out beyond the operating room and help our fellow man. If this sounds like something you want to part of, join our team. Do it for the health of it. Stretch yourself while being a part of something bigger than yourself. For more information on the marathon, go to www.rnrhalf.com, where you can find a wealth of information here including how YOU can begin to train to run in the race!
